Weekend Fun!!

Hello everyone! Hope you are all well. We had a pretty busy weekend between birthday parties, softball, and warm weather! I am not going to blog today but just post some pics from the party at Watiki! Thanks Angela and Happy Birthday Aidan!

Down with the sickness...haha!

Well it would seem the last two weeks we have all been sick at some point in this house. I would say the kids more so than the adults but none the less we are all sick of being sick! I actually spent the morning with Brady at the doctor, only for them too tell me to "treat him at home," what.... are you kidding me. Treat him at home, that is what I have been doing for the last two weeks. The new thing apparently isn't to treat the problem but only the pain. All of these so called new studies suggest that everything is viral, ha ha or at least that is my conclusion. I can see the next "Bail-Out," is going to be for all the companies who make antibiotics. I am just frustrated and it gets hard staying home with sick kids and even worse a "big boy" who is sick, talk about the end of the world!

Any who Haley is good or at least this morning she was. I am waiting for her to come home with the chicken pocks or something crazy it would be my luck. No but really she is good. School is going well, she is involved in a math program which she seems to be liking which is good. She is also enjoying not having to gear all up with hats and gloves just to go play outside, welcoming these nice last few days!

Brady on the other hand is still fighting the the good fight with this cold or whatever it is he has. Although we were outside all day yesterday, it must have been just enough to run him back down. I only thought the fresh air would be good for him. We went to the park with grandma and ate some lunch (ice cream for him). Came home and played in the garage for a while and walked to school to get Haley.

Josh and I are doing well. He actually took advantage of the nice weather this weekend and cleaned up both the vehicles, which was nice of him. We also took in a movie alone with some friends which was just what we needed. Other than that pretty low key for us!

Whammy!!!

One a week is what I aim for! I'm trying to do better. Mostly for those of you who don't get to see the kids as often. Not a whole lot has happen since I last sat down and did this. So I will maybe just keep this one short and sweet.

Haley is good, she is actually at school right now. She had a pretty good weekend I would have to say. She talked her dad into a Wii. So the last couple of days she has been downstairs bowling, playing tennis, and boxing. She shows allot of talent. I think she can out bowl me already. But who's to say how accurate these games are right..?

Brady is OK. He's got this raspy little voice and the runny nose came in this morning. He has just been bumming around the house. He refuses to take off his Iron Man pj's and I am not up for the fight. I agreed we would just stay in our jammies all day. We might snuggle up here in a few and watch a movie and then nap, busy day I know, don't be jealous!

I am good still trying to back into this sweet thing we call and exercise routine, its hard to get motivated to go workout! Maybe I need to put a chubby picture of myself up on the fridge or something. I am entertaining the idea of trying to work out while Brady naps, we'll see I don't know if I have time...

Josh is swell. Its all work and a little play at night (gaming, his new thing...). Trying to keep up with this "free agency" football deal. Rotating time between the couch and the computer. That about sums it up for him. Ha ha busy guy!

This is just a silly video of Brady from last week! Keep in mind it is so hard to get a good video that isnt just boring... He had been making "pupcakes" all morning. We will try harder next time!
