Hey Hey...

I can't seem to figure out why I can't seem to keep up with this. You would think I would be able to pencil in some time to do this. I would like to blame it on my busy schedule but that is really non-existent! I guess these two critters I have and Josh keep me busy and I will use them as my excuse this time! Ha ha!

This past couple of weeks we had Valentines day which was nice and then there was our Anniversary, hard to believe it has already been 8 years! I will take 8 more any day, the good the bad and the ugly. We were able to enjoy our first over-night without the kids, it took 2 and a half years to get it done but hey! My mom kept Brady and Grandma kept Haley. Not sure who was more tired when we got them back might have been a toss up. They are both pretty busy kids so there is really no telling.

So with our free 24 hours we went up to Hill City and ate dinner at the Alpine (which was really not as impressive as everyone had said, but none the less the alone time was worth it and we enjoyed ourselves). Then we came back to town got some Coldstone Ice Cream and a movie! We were in bed by 9:30 no joke! You would have thought we would have slept in but we were up at 8 and went and had some breakfast and did a little shopping. I know this all sounds a little boring but this is really what we needed! It was the best weekend I have had in a LONG time!

OK lets get to Haley she is good. We gave her room a little face life a couple of weeks ago. It looks super cute, it was time to make it a little more grown-up. She loves it and with the all the colors there is no way you cant be happy in that little space! She has a dentist appointment today and she is a little worked up about that but I will fill everyone in on how that went. I had her conference at school and it would seem she is doing well, it is such a nice feeling to know that her teacher likes her some much! Plus who couldn't love that cute little sassy girl!

Brady is just Brady. Everyday he says or does something that either makes me laugh or leaves me speechless. He has such a good personality and has a pretty good imagination. He has been talking a little funny lately with this weird tone in his voice cracks us up, its like he over does his lip a little too much when he talks and try to lower his voice its just cute to watch and hear. The walks back to bed seem to be getting a little better I would say we are down to 5 or less which is a big improvement, I just don't get it though because at nap time its so easy he just goes to sleep...?

Catching up...

Wow here we are and its already almost Mid-February...where does the time go. We all have been pretty busy...with what I'm not sure, I don't think I cant even remember yesterday! We enjoyed some super nice weather apparently it was just a tease because its cold again today, blowing rain and snow. Its just getting pretty old around here, we need more sunshine, it helps all of our attitudes!

Let me see here we will start with Haley as usual. We went to the eye doctor recently and they decided to change her prescription and it would seem her eyes are getting better, not that they were horrible but to know they are getting better is a nice feeling. So we went and ordered new glasses the other day. We went and picked out Valentines for school last week and got those all filled out the same day, which is nice she was so excited to get that done! We also bought some cute pink polka-dotted wrapping paper and some stickers and got her Valentines box all ready. A couple of Sundays ago we went to the Stock Show and she got herself a new pink cowboy hat and some killer boots! School is going well she started a math group at school this weeks so we will see how that goes, homework every night and we still have reading every night so we will stay busy with homework!

Brady Bean is good. He also got his first cowboy hat and pair of boots at the Stock Show. He had a pretty good time. We checked out the petting zoo and he loved the animals. I recently found out he had mastered the rail on his crib so we up-graded to the big boy bed. We went out and picked out a nice twin size bed and a cute cars and trucks themed comforter. He has been doing pretty well other than the 10 or 11 walks back to his bed at night (ha ha ha), but I am sure with time this will get better. He's still into the superhero's and it is getting old really fast I think we might have to replace the Iron Man dvd soon!

Josh is good, I think... He actually took last week off so I could work up at the apartments for my mom. He went back to work today and I'm not sure if he was ready. I think he was getting used to hanging with Brady all day and playing outside and eating all day and watching Iron Man, Superman, Batman, Spiderman... you get the picture!

I am doing well. Busy last week with work and cant say I am cut out for that 9-5 daily grind. I feel like I miss out on too much with my kids and it's so hard to keep up with the house-hold chores and such! Im looking forward to a week filled with a whole lotta nothing! I will try and do better with this blog deal! Hope you are all doing well.
